I really don't have too much more to report. Gabriel is Mr. Big and growing. As of last Friday he weighed 11.9 pounds and has outgrown most of his 0-3 outfits that he fit into his first week of life. He definitely still keeps us on our tows with his night wakings and his sometimes grumpy behavior! We are looking foward to sleeping nights and definitely when he starts being able to interact with us and play a bit more. Also my infection is officially gone!! Woot! But the incision still is pretty tender and probably will be for a little while longer. But Gabe and I went on our first official walk together today! He's still cooing away in his infant seat and sleeping! We're also thinking it's time to get some cable TV. I'm one of those people that needs some background noise while I'm going about my day...and that day consists of lots of couch time while feeding Gabe and pumping his milk...and there are only so many movies I can watch over and over again! We think it'll be a good investment in the long run, especially once he starts getting interested in those fun educational children's programs!! So we are all still learning and growing and figuring it all out together!
Yay for no more infection!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that your infection is gone! Isn't that the best feeling? Isn't this weather amazing? I'm so glad you and Gabe got to go out and enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteI think getting cable or satilite tv sounds like a good investment! We've been puking at our house so we still can't come visit you. I'll let you know when we are better.
