Wow....life's been particularly challenging this last week. We just realized that Gabriel is a colicky baby, which means that he has a really hard time self-soothing. We bought the book "The Happiest Baby on the Block" and it has really helped! We're hoping it keeps helping. The book says he should be a better self-soother by the age of three or four months. So we're hanging tight for another month and a half or two and a half! So wish us luck on this journey!
But we did get some wonderful photos of our little Gabe done by the wife of one of Archie's co-w0rkers, Rachael. If you like and want her to come by to do a shoot she makes house calls and I can give you the information!
I hope you enjoyed!
I'll have to remember that for when I have a baby. He is so cute!!! I love the teacup one and the pirate one!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! He's so stinkin' cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, he is so sweet! Love the one of him in the teacup w/ his toes all spread apart! And the pirate ones, freaking cute. Ava was squealing w/ joy looking at them. Sorry to hear about the colic, that is not fun. I don't think Ava was, but we went through a month or more of her crying/whining from 10pm-3am or so, not a good time. Hope he grows out of it soon.
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures. I love them!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are INCREDIBLE! SO awesome Heather, and he COULD NOT be cuter. What a handsome little man, and handsome little pirate:)
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! How old is he in these photos? We're set up to have a photoshoot for Rushton in about 2 weeks, so he'll be almost 2 months old then. I'm not so sure it will work because he's a pretty light sleeper. Oh well, I guess we'll see. I'm a little sad that I missed that newborn window for pics, but that's ok. Man, doesn't being a new mom change your life SO drastically? I totally feel you on the shower thing - it's definitely an infrequent luxury. And I feel lucky that my husband works at home. I don't know what I'd do if he had to leave every day! Things will keep getting better, right?
