After four weeks with two of those weeks being sick, I have officially lost......................................................................................................................................................................................FIVE POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! I've been counting my calories using Livingstrong.com and giving myself a day off once a week to not count calories. I also excercise at least five days a week and make sure I eat my fruits and veggies. I am very very excited and happy!
Also Gabe is crawling like crazy now and pulling himself up and balancing really well standing up. He made it up the stairs all by himself and pretty darn fast...before I knew it he was already up three stairs! It's been a bit tough on this weekend with him now getting sick with a bit of the flu bug, but he should be recovering soon.

Christmas 2009 Family Pics!!!!
I haven't been real great at keeping up with my family blog. I guess I feel that I don't have too much to say that anyone really cares about....life is life. Gabe is slowly getting up a bit more on his knees in order to crawl. He's cutting his top left front tooth. He's recovering from an ear infection and is still doing great from his October surgery.
My ward exercise group is still going strong and am loving it! I just wish I would eat better as well, then I might actually lose some weight. But with the holidays....I'll do good just to maintain at this rate. Then when the new year starts I can keep the goal of eating better! But you know what? I'm OK with who I am. I'm almost thirty pounds heavier than I was in high school....but for me that's OK. I carried around an 11.1 pound baby for over a couple of months...my stomach stretched beyond belief...I was bigger around than my friend was who had twins the year before! So I have a lot of battle scars....the most ginormous stretch marks known to humankind and a c-section scar that still itches and twitches like the Dickens. So I say as long as I'm trying to eat relatively healthy, exercise, and enjoy life it doesn't matter what my waist size is! Just trying to be happy no matter what.
Archie is great. He's the super go-to guy at work and he's just the biggest support for me and Gabe at home. Don't know what I'd do without him. He's the best!

Isn't he just the cutest!!! We'll keep him!

Snow!
Well, it officially became winter yesterday....well, a bit on Friday too. I was hoping the nice days would stretch out just a bit more. Boog and I were having a lot of fun taking morning walks with the weather being so nice! Oh well, with my exercise group four days a week and my treadmill I should be still good to go. I love the snow, but I hate driving in it and I just hate the bitter cold. I want to live in a nice mild climate all year round! Next winter, though, Boog will be able to play in the snow with me so it'll make it even funner!

9 Month Checkup
Well Gabe is officially nine months old! I can't believe it! He just keeps getting bigger and bigger. He is still a nail, though! He is 29.5 cm long and is officially too big for his car seat now (87th percentile). His head is 18.3 cm (83 percentile). Weight is 18.87 pounds (23 percentile). So he still has a big head, he's tall and doesn't weigh a thing! Just like his parents! Oh, wait, no! His doctor said everything seems to be going well and he looks as healthy as a horse!
He's still not crawling yet...so we're getting lots of tummy time in even though he just screams and screams! But he gets around really well in his walker since Archie took off a few obstacles so he can cruise around on the carpet as well as the linoleum. Now he's pulling off the DVDs, CDs, chairs, glass objects! We're baby proofing now!
He's finally sleeping better again at night since his surgery a month ago and his cold last week! Yeah! Sleep is somewhat here again. We also had our water heater go kaputz a few days ago and had to have a new one installed today. That was not so fun since it cost us an arm and a leg to do it...now I still have my car to register...got pulled over yesterday for my expired tags...grrrr! But it should be ready to renew here in the next few days as long as our catalytic converter light doesn't come back on within the next twenty miles! So wish us luck!

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy
I guess that must be normal when you are a parent! But my poor little Boog has gotten a cold and now his nose is running profusely so we have to squeegie his nose every five minutes and wipe it with Kleenexes. We have him on Tylenol and he's sleeping in his swing to help keep him upright better so his nose doesn't drain as much into his throat...so sleep is more difficult, which means sleep is nonexistent again for me! Oh, the joys.
We were looking forward to dressing him up in his pirate costume and taking him to a couple of houses in the neighborhood, but that's the day he became sick. So we kept him inside, but our neighbor Stephanie brought him over some animal crackers! She's a sweetie! But my chili turned out pretty tasty so that was nice, but I didn't get time to get my costume ready...so I was my usual backup, a pirate!
For some more good news...let's see...Some ladies in my ward/neighborhood decided to start up an exercise class in our church building in the mornings four days a week and it has been awesome and so motivating! I haven't been this sore for years and haven't worked out this much since before I was pregnant of last year! My goal is to not gain weight this holiday season and with this exercise group and a little less on the eating I'll reach my goal and I hope to maybe lose a bit too!

One Tough Week
Gabe is recovering well from his surgery last week! And thank goodness; it's been a very long week for all of us. Quite a few sleepless nights for us, but he is officially sleeping again through the night and boy are we super happy! It was also so distressing to see my child in so much pain and discomfort. It just broke our hearts, so we are joyous that the pain is gone and he's is happy self once again!

Boog's Surgery Update
Gabe had surgery on Friday. It went well and he's making his recovery. It's been a really tough weekend, but today he started smiling and laughing again and playing with his toys! He still isn't eating as much, but we're hoping he'll get his appetite back soon. Pictures to be put up soon!

More Crazy Crozier Updates!
Nothing too exciting around here...OK, yes, things were tough these last couple of weeks. Archie headed off for 12 days up to Boise for work and left me to fend for myself! I also hosted my friend for a week and a half.
I also attended a heart-wrenching funeral for little Lucas Nelson who passed away at the innocent age of only 8 months after fighting cancer for three months. I now hold my son a little closer and have a more grateful and forgiving heart. They are an amazing family and am so grateful to be apart of their lives and our prayers go out to them.
Archie is now home, my friend has moved on, and life continues to whirl and spin us around. I am so grateful for my wonderful husband who supports me in all that I do and loves our beautiful son, Gabe.
Since Gabe is sooo cute I'm sharing more photos and short videos of him!
Boog feeding himself some carrots!
More Carrots, yum!
Prunes, glorious prunes!
Frodo and Wolfy sniffing Sarah's feet!
I went out to water my plant and discovered this spider had made its home here between the plant and our barbecuer! Sarah had to capture it and set it free for me so I could actually water the plant! Spiders freak me out!

No Surgery Yet
Due to Archie heading off to Boise for two weeks for work we decided it was better if we put off Gabe's surgery till Archie would be able to be around. So not til October. I was getting pretty nervous about having to take care of him with all his post-surgery needs without Archie around so I'm glad we decided to do so.
Gabe is really growing now...he's sitting up all by himself now and hardly ever tips over, but we have plenty of pillows and blankies surrounding him just in case. He's also got his two bottom teeth coming up and they are just so cute! I've been trying to get some pics of them, but to no avail...hopefully, soon!

Six Month Checkup!
Gabe is now officially six months old. Where has the time gone? He's so big now!
Well, he is still a nail: tall (27 inches), large noggin (17.5 inches), and skinny (only 16.11 pounds). They said for his height he should weight 18.4! Oh well. He's not a big eater. The doctor wasn't concerned so he's still growing fine and healthily. We're now going to start him on a few Cheerios to see how he likes those!
There are also bumps where his teeth are starting to grow in! Poor little guy. His teething days are not so fun. He also got his vaccinations today as well. He didn't like them, of course (who does, except sadists and masochists???). But he did really well after I got him calmed down and Tylenol down him and food. He even slept while Archie and I headed out for breakfast to celebrate his six months! Hee hee! And he slept really long for both his naps which was really nice for me! I got so much done today! So no shots for his nine month checkup and we're really happy about that.
He has to have surgery at the end of this month to fix his pee-pee (he was born with hypospadius, which means his pee hole is underneath instead of at the end). So they're going to fix it and they say it's pretty routine and that 1/200 baby boys are born with this so it's pretty common. But it'll still be rough on us and on him...so not looking forward to it.
Life moves on and we continue to learn from each other!

Boog and His Hats!
I decided to get him a hat last week and went into Old Navy to see what they had! I ended up getting him two, one is a baseball cap and the other is a fisher's hat! They were too cute and I couldn't pass it up.

I Call For A Parents' Sick Day....
If only...I didn't sleep well at all last night and now today I'm so tired and grumpy and anything and everything little Boog does or doesn't do just really annoys me! I know, I'm such a great mom. Too bad I don't have that village that helps raise the kids! Maybe I'll just drop Gabe off next door....she would love that since she babysits two little girls and has four of her own as well! Hmm, maybe the basement....HA HA! Or I could just leave him in his crib all day and turn off the monitors and only go in for feedings and diaper changes!!! HEE HEE! Well, I guess that's life as a parent. There are no sick days. Hopefully, he's not too traumatized by my grumpiness today...So we'll both just deal and I pray for better sleep tonight!

Onto Solids Now
Gabe has just started on baby foods! It's been exciting to see how he reacts to each new flavor. So far he hasn't been a big banana fan, but I'm wondering if it's because of the texture. I guess time will tell. He also enjoys rice, carrots, applesauce, and prunes so far!
He loves his carrots!
He's sooo serious, but he was enjoying them!
We're trying more tummy time now that's he's not so colicky!
Wolfy and Frodo and Eeyore all cuddling, so cute!
Archie and I are off to see Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince tomorrow with Ty and Cristi! We are sooooo excited! I'll give my review either tomorrow or Sunday!

4th of July and Gabe's Blessing
It was a very stressful, yet very fun weekend! Archie took Friday off so we could finish getting the house all ready for Gabe's blessing on Sunday. We cleaned, shampooed the carpets and made food like crazy all day!
Independence Day Archie's mother agreed to watch Gabe and Ty and Cristi's two boys while we went off for lunch at Olive Garden and to the movie "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaur." Excellent movie in 3-D! Then we all came back to our house for some games and fireworks! It was very exciting! Gabe loved the fireworks, though, he didn't last too long since it was his bedtime. He was glued to the light show the whole time!
I'm very grateful to live in a country where I can worship how, where, and what I may; vote for my leaders; and raise my baby boy how I see fit!
Sunday was Gabe's special day. We dressed him up in his little blessing outfit and Archie did an excellent job and we had so many friends and family that showed up to give him and us support! I didn't know if our little town home would hold so many adults and kids, but most stayed outside and the Wii occupied some as well! Thanks to everyone to helped with food, preparations, set-up, and take-down! Your help made the day go a lot smoother!!!

Life Update
Not too much to update right now. The big thing this week is getting ready for Gabe's baby blessing, which is this Sunday. We've got a lot to do to prepare. Not looking forward to it by any means. Since Mormons usually bless their babies about two or three months, we're doing it a bit late. With him being so colicky I didn't want him screaming his lungs out! Plus I was nowhere ready to bless him with my incision infection, post-partum depression, and getting into the flow of parenthood! Our home isn't quite kid-prood yet since Gabe still isn't mobile, so we've got some rearranging to do, as well as cleaning and food preparing!
But one more milestone to add, Gabe made it through sacrament meeting without crying or fussing even once! Talk about huge. I figure if we can get a few weeks of that maybe we'll try out Sunday School!
We also enjoyed a wonderful Sunday night with Archie's brother Ty and his wife Cristi and their two boys! They made us steaks, baked potatoes, and green salad! Then it was on to games! We kept Gabe up for a bit too long, but he's making up for it as I write!
And I'm still trying to work on school, which is still pretty tricky. Archie is still doing well at work. They'd sink without him!
Well, that's about it in our lives!
