Not too much to update on, but Gabe is still doing great! He's growing like a weed! I can't believe he's already three weeks old! Happy March for sure. He's an amazing baby!! But I can't wait til he's old enough to start sleeping through the night. Archie and I are both super tired and looking forward to the late Spring and Summer!
Recovery for me is still slow-going. I'm still receiving daily dressing changes for my infection in my incision. But my doctor says it's healing nicely and hopefully will only have one more week on the dressing changes. It's just hard to have this wound since it makes mobility difficult and it still hurts! Also my mom is heading back to work on Wednesday so I only have one more day with her. I'm very sad about that and nervous. How am I going to survive without her? She's the only way I get some sleep during the day! So wish us luck as we really start the adventure without Mom's help!
Good luck getting sleep. Just be glad your little one is here... we're still waiting, and I'm losing patience! :)
ReplyDeleteOr Gabe could be like Ava and not sleep through the night every night till about 15-16 months! But he'll probably be an angel for you soon, just keep sleeping when he does. I was spoiled w/ my mom for a week and Jeremy off for 5 weeks! I wish you the best of luck!!!
